Binance opens free AI trading, yet user liability remains 100%

Binance introduced a free Standard plan for AI Pro on Oct. 19, allowing users to generate, test, and deploy automated trading strategies without paying a monthly software fee.

Standard includes 250,000 usage credits refreshed each month and uses DeepSeek. Users can preview strategies, try simulated trades through paper trading, and put them into live operation.

The free tier does not permit credit top-ups. A separate Premium plan costs $19.99 monthly, with 10 million monthly credits, additional AI models where available, and the option to buy more credits.

The free tier belongs to a new AI Pro release, separate from Binance’s earlier paid beta. That earlier service opened on March 25 to a limited initial group, with an introductory $9.99 monthly charge.

First-time activators received a seven-day trial with no charge if they disabled the service during that period.

Binance says the beta continues separately, and existing subscriptions remain active. Users can run the beta and new AI Pro at the same time, so starting on free Standard does not automatically end a beta subscription.

From a trading idea to live execution

AI Pro lets users describe an idea in conversation and turns it into a visual workflow for review. Binance’s examples include a plan for recurring Bitcoin purchases and a daily market report.

Binance’s workflow checks concern whether coded logic executes without errors. The company explicitly says those checks do not assess a strategy’s profitability, quality, or likely performance. A workflow that passes a functionality check can still embody a poor trading idea.

For a strategy that will trade, approval and funding are separate steps. Binance says the user must explicitly approve the workflow before it goes live, then transfer funds to its dedicated sub-account. Each strategy operates in an isolated sub-account rather than trading directly through the main account.

Changing a workflow’s logic creates a new version that needs another approval before trading. After deployment, users can pause or adjust the workflow, or revoke its access. Those controls let users decide when automation starts and whether it should continue.

Binance AI Pro lets users build, test and approve automated strategies before funding live execution.

Free also describes the software subscription. Users supply the funds for live trading, and Binance publishes a separate trading-fee schedule. Standard’s price should not be read as a promise that every trade is free.

Although Binance describes the release as open to its users, its official announcement warns that the products and services mentioned may be unavailable in some regions.

Binance also warns that AI outputs can contain errors and are not guaranteed. It says users remain responsible for their investment decisions and trading losses.
